Jennifer Hale

Jennifer Hale was born in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Newfoundland to parents originally from Birmingham, Alabama, where she was raised and graduated from the Alabama School of Fine Arts in 1982. She began voice work as a teenager at a local radio station before commuting between Birmingham and Atlanta as a working actress, eventually relocating to Hollywood.

Jennifer is widely regarded as the most prolific voice actress in video game history, recognised by Guinness World Records in 2013. Her genre credits span an extraordinary range: she voices the female Commander Shepard across the entire Mass Effect trilogy, became the fan-favourite “FemShep” with a dedicated grassroots following, and lent her voice to Samus Aran in the Metroid Prime trilogy, Naomi Hunter in Metal Gear Solid, Bastila Shan in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Rosalind Lutece in BioShock Infinite. In animation, she voices Avatar Kyoshi in Avatar: The Last Airbender and Princess Aurora and Cinderella across numerous Disney projects.
