Gary Erskine

Gary Erskine was born in 1968 in Paisley, near Glasgow, Scotland, and broke into the comics industry in 1988 after sending samples of his work to Marvel UK, who hired him to draw Knights of Pendragon. He went on to work for nearly every major comics publisher across a career spanning more than three decades, collaborating with celebrated writers including Mark Millar, Garth Ennis, Grant Morrison and Warren Ellis on titles such as Hellblazer, The Authority, The Filth and War Stories.
Gary’s genre work spans some of the biggest names in science fiction, having illustrated licensed comics for Star Wars, Star Trek, Doctor Who, Transformers and Terminator, in addition to his celebrated work on Judge Dredd for 2000 AD. He was the Creative Director of the Glenrothes Comic Con events in 2017 and 2018, and continues to mentor film students in storyboarding alongside his ongoing comics work.
