Andrew Gower

Andrew Gower was born on 8 November 1989 in Aintree, near Liverpool, and graduated from the Oxford School of Drama in 2010, winning the prestigious Spotlight Prize for Best Actor that same year. He made his British television debut in ITV’s Monroe in 2011, and went on to play vampire solicitor Nick Cutler in BBC Three’s Being Human.
Andrew is best known for his recurring role as “Bonnie Prince” Charles Edward Stuart, the historical leader of the doomed 1745 Jacobite Rising, across three seasons of the Starz drama Outlander. His performance became famous among fans for the character’s repeated catchphrase “Mark me.” He has also appeared in the science fiction anthology series Black Mirror (the acclaimed episode “Crocodile”) and played Ezra Spurnrose in Amazon’s fantasy-noir series Carnival Row.
